China in Xi Jinping`s New Era Politics, Economy and Foreign Policy

China in Xi Jinping’s New Era looks through the domestic political and socioeconomic decisions China has made during Xi`s “New Era”. It argues that Xi Jinping has emulated Mao Zedong to become a populist nationalist strong leader on the one hand, and announced the arrival of China as a serious player at the global stage on the other. The former is mirrored by his “people oriented” approach to development, alleviation of poverty, the “internal circulation” and the “common prosperity” etc., campaigns. The latter is demonstrative of his global governance approaches synchronised through “Building Community of Shared Future for the Mankind” and “New Type of International Relations – the two pillars of Xi`s diplomacy, to which new flanks such as Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative, Global Civilization Initiative and the Chinese Modernisation have been added.
