DIPLOMACY LIBERATED

‘Diplomacy Liberated’ is a veritable treasure trove of articles by Ambassador T.P. Sreenivasan based on his 37 years of being a diplomat with the Government of India, and of 20 fruitful years after his retirement. Some of the articles will rekindle memories of events long gone by, but had made news headlines at the time, including an Indian minister inadvertently delivering a large part of a speech intended for another country’s minister at the UN; diplomatic goof-ups, but all swiftly covered up with aplomb, and of how ambassadorships are secured in a prominent Western nation.
