<p>When fishing boats were numerous, Scotland was a wonderful place to see them. Even in later days, it¿s still possible to see a hint of what used to be. It was often marvellous fun taking pictures around the harbours, though the Scottish weather could make it challenging. Peter Drummond accepted the challenge with much gusto and enthusiasm and was rewarded with days when the sun shone, the air was clear, and the boats were almost lining up to have their pictures taken. So here they are, the very best of them, in beautiful colour, former side trawlers and ring net boats; crabbers, beamers, scallopers, seiners, trawlers, and purse seiners.
