The blanket protects the horse against mosquitoes and flies and prevents the horse being discolored by the sun. With nylon lining on the shoulder and the manes gusset and chest closure with velcro and buckle closure. The neck has a velcro closure and hole for the ears. The adjustable belly flap has three torque fasteners. Furthermore the blanket has an extra long tail flap with tailstrap and elastic leg straps.
