This is the second book of Evgeny Kissin's writings in Yiddish. It consists of several short stories, miniatures and two diaries, one of which was written during the author's long concert tour of Southeast Asia, the other one - during his 10 days' vacation in Marianske Lazne. Kissin's short stories are written in the realistic manner and describe various aspects of life in the former Soviet Union. The miniatures contain Kissin's thoughts and ideas about different subjects. In 'The Asian Diary' and the 'The Marienbad Diary' the descriptions of Kissin's daily life occurrences alternate with his reminiscences of the past, comments on the current political events etc.
