Karmi explores alternative solutions and shows, one-by-one, how they are doomed to fail. She examines what really drives this conflict and how the dreams of both sides are incompatible. She picks apart the Zionist project and the aspirations of Palestinians who want to eradicate Israel altogether. Finally, Karmi moves on to suggest the way to a solution - through reparations, and large scale development in the Palestinian areas along the lines of the Marshall Plan.
