This edited collection provides an intersectional and transnational exploration ofrepresentations of sexual violence and rape within films, television shows, anddigital mediain the contemporary context ofthe #MeToo and #TimesUp movements. Drawingupon sociology, gender studies, cultural studies, media studies, and Blackfeminist studies, chapters focus on women and texts at the margins of mainstreamculture''s depictions of sexual violence.
