The Politics of Violence Against Women in Climate Fiction

Mona Ashour offers an interdisciplinary exploration of how climate change and gender-based violence intersect in contemporary literature. Through the framework of ecofeminism, posthumanism, and critical fabulation, it demonstrates how cli-fi narratives reimagine survival, reverse traditional othering, and highlight women’s agency in apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic settings.
