11+ Essentials English Comprehensions: Comparative Comprehensions Book 2

This 11+ English book builds on key skills learnt in Comparative Comprehension Book 1. It offers focused practice in comparative comprehension based on its typical format when it is used in an 11+ exam. It’s designed to familiarise children with comparative questions, and questions requiring multiple answers.Each test features two passages (fiction, non-fiction or poetry) followed by individual and comparative questions.Students are tested on their understanding of each individual passage and their ability to compare and contrast the two. One standard written question per test is also included to build confidence in longer responses. The book covers question types such as factual recall, inference, vocabulary, grammar, and literary techniques, and includes guidance and a glossary to support understanding.
