She’d never swum in open water before. She couldn’t even swim very well. As her punishing training schedule commenced, she also discovered that you can’t wear a wetsuit, and the only way to stave off the cold is to put on some weight. </p><p>This led to an idea – to meet and eat with 21 famous and inspirational women to help her get fat, and answer the question: does motherhood make you happy? Each of the women reveal compelling truths about the meaning of motherhood and gradually Jessica begins to swim her way out of sadness.</p>
