It has been nearly thirty years since the Rage Virus escaped from a biological weapons laboratory. Survivors struggle to get by in a world defined by strict quarantine and dangerous enemies.

A continuation of a post-apocalyptic tale of survival, mutation, and human cruelty.

28 Years Later follows a group of survivors who have found a way to live despite the infected and the rigorous quarantine. One of them lives on a small island connected to the mainland by a single, heavily guarded road. When this individual ventures into the dark heart of the mainland, he discovers a mutation that affects not only the infected but also other survivors.

In 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, Nia DaCosta takes the story further and turns it on its head. Dr. Kelson (Ralph Fiennes) begins a shocking new relationship that could have far-reaching consequences for their world, while Spike (Alfie Williams) endures a nightmarish ordeal with Jimmy Crystal (Jack O’Connell) from which he cannot escape. In this world, the infected no longer pose the greatest danger; instead, it is the inhumanity of the survivors that proves to be both bizarre and terrifying.
