Agbeko When The People Say Vinyl

Chunky verses and rapid-fire choruses tip the hat to Afrobeat forebears while channeling Mancunian grit.Need Nobody’s highlife guitars, Orchestra Baobab-esque horns and sunkissed Gankogui bells underpin Hayes’ dreamy vocal embodying the soul-searcher in us all. “I need nobody to tell me so” bursts the doubt and heralds a euphoric singalong.Work It All Out’s fanfare slides into swaggering groove, battering-ram solos and Kuti’s anthemic cry to a drifting world: “what you gonna do when the people say no?
