Amy Winehouse Back To Black 20th Anniversary Limited Edition Vinyl

Amy Winehouse, a native of North London, rose to fame in October 2003, at the age of 20, with her internationally acclaimed, platinum-certified debut album *Frank*. This record was her big, appropriately candid breakup album—at times a little bitter, yet with a maturity in her vocals that was never less than sweet.*Frank* earned Amy a large fan base around the world and established her as one of pop music’s most prominent new songwriters: confessional, raw, and possessing that rare combination of humor and soul. With her debut, Amy had struck at the heart of human existence and added her own jazzy wit to the legacy of the greats.Three years later, in October 2006, she followed it up with the astonishing *Back to Black*, an album that channeled her passion for girl groups but, with a little help from producer Mark Ronson, placed her squarely in the modern era. The unflinching confessions on this album chronicled Amy’s evolution from girl to woman and transformed her from a critics’ darling into a global pop phenomenon.Driven by a breathtaking series of loosely strung-together, funky tracks like “Rehab,” “You Know I’m No Good,” and “Back to Black,” the album earned Amy countless awards, including Brit Awards, Ivor Novello Awards, and an incredible five Grammys. It also made her one of the few British artists to have sold more than 10 million copies of an album.
