Ataraxia

Following the release of their critically acclaimed debut album “From The New World” in 2024, a record exploring societal collapse, survival, and humanity through a fictional postapocalyptic lens, Allt has announced their sophomore album 'Ataraxia'.'Ataraxia' marks a new phase in the band’s journey: The album is grounded in reality and draws directly from the lives the band has lived, like personal tragedies, relationships, exhaustion, longing, relapse, clarity, and the moments in between. The songs function as fragments of memory and states of mind, forming an anthology of journeys toward stillness. The album frames 'Ataraxia' as a place of longin Rather than an endpoint, it is a condition that is approached, momentarily inhabited, and often lost again.Musically, Allt continue to evolve their signature sound of modern progressive metalcore, placing greater emphasis on emotional space and restraint. The aggression remains but is now placed in direct dialogue with vulnerability. The result is Allt’s most intimate, human, and honest work to date. “With 'Ataraxia', we wanted to write from the place we actually live in. These songs are fragments and retellings of our own experiences, the weight we’ve carried, the things we’ve seen and done, and what we’ve had to confront on our own paths toward maturing as people and finding peace and stillness in our lives. 'Ataraxia' is about learning to remain present within whatever is unfolding in your life.”Formed in 2020, Allt is a progressive metalcore band from Karlskoga, Sweden. Known for their audiovisual storytelling and innovative approach to metalcore, the name Allt, meaning “everything” in Swedish, reflects the band’s philosophy: never to be confined within genre boundaries, continually delivering conceptually rich compositions inspired by the world around them and the stories and myths told through the ages.
