Back In Da' Day

<p>Growing up <strong><em>Back in Da' Day</em></strong>, was a good time for us. We had some good days, fun days, and we had bad days, but we made it through with prayers from all around. I miss the good ole days. They're the days of old that I will always cherish and never forget. I thank God for the days when people truly cared for one another. The days when kids could just be kids and enjoy life. The days when parents still taught their children about love and respect. Respect for yourself and for your elders. I thank God for giving us the opportunity to go to school, learn, and get an education. I thank God for bringing us up in church to learn about who God is and how to lean and depend on Him. If it wasn't for me knowing who God is, I wouldn't be where I am today. I thank God for blessing me with these prayers to share with you and the generations to come. God is so good and He has always provided me with the resources and the time to write. I hope you enjoy what He has given me in this book, <strong><em>Back in Da' Day</em></strong>.</p><p><br></p><p>As you read and reflect, I pray that our children and grandchildren will have a chance to live life like we did <strong><em>Back In Da' Day</em></strong>. I pray that everyone that picks up this book of prayers will say, "OMG! I remember my mother or father saying those words". There are some hilarious quotes and phrases and some just plain telling the truth. </p><p><br></p><p>This is a Bible scripture that stays on my mind that I would like to share with you all, it's <em>"If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land." </em><strong>2 Chronicles 7:14 New King James Version (NKJV)</strong></p><p> </p><p>Let's live life like we were living<strong><em> Back In Da' Day,</em></strong> but living with much less stress and the hope of a glorious future!</p>
