Behind the Iron Fence

A charming Savannah mystery featuring a relatable, later-in-life protagonist, plenty of Southern charm, and a blend of wit, wisdom, and relatable life experiences. Ideal for fans of cozy reads with heart, humour, and hope. A locked gate, a missing grave, and a secret someone’s killing to keep buried. When Emma Lynn Whitmore agrees to catalog gravestones in Savannah’s eerie Holly Hill Cemetery, she expects Spanish moss and ghost stories—not a historian’s body among the crumbling tombs and a chilling link to a murder decades ago behind the same iron fence. With her sassy Savannah Sleuths—sharp-tongued Margaret, eagle-eyed Graham, and tech-wizard Wren with her sly grin—the crew dives into a mystery as tangled as Lowcountry vines. A missing heirloom map and whispers of an old betrayal point to a killer who’s determined to bury the truth. Emma Lynn’s quick wit leads the charge, Margaret stirs up gossip faster than a Savannah summer storm, Graham spots clues in the shadows, and Wren hacks through the digital cobwebs–their banter popping like firecrackers over the Fourth. But as old grudges resurface and a present-day threat stalks the misty graveyard, the Sleuths must outsmart a growing list of suspects to solve both murders before a killer's secret is locked away forever. Perfect for fans of Richard Osman and Kay Bratt, Behind the Iron Fence blends Southern charm, witty sleuths, and a double dose of mystery. Join Emma Lynn’s lively crew for a suspenseful, laugh-out-loud romp through Savannah, where tombstones hide more than a dead body. Praise for the Savannah Series? ? ? ? ?
