Dark Ride is a melodic punk rock band from California, founded by singer and songwriter Emilio Menze.Their sound blends high-energy West Coast punk with horror and fantasy themes as well as metal influences, and has been compared to AFI, the Misfits, and the Alkaline Trio. Menze has been active in the horror-punk scene for over 20 years and toured worldwide with Stellar Corpses before founding Dark Ride.Since 2020, the band has released an EP, toured the U.S., and played in Europe for the first time in 2025 at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig.
