Cosmo Sheldrake Digger Limited Edition Ecovinyl Vinyl

Mutant, in partnership with WaterTower Music are proud to present the premiere physical media release of Cosmo Sheldrake's score to Academy Award®-winning director Alejandro González Iñárritu's latest film Digger.Cosmo Sheldrake is a multi-instrumentalist performer and composer, live improviser, field recordist and anthropologist. His album Wake Up Calls (2020), an album composed entirely from recordings of endangered British birds; and Wild Wet World (2023), a homage to the ocean created from recordings of whales, seals, fish, snapping shrimp and coral reefs; set the stage for his unique and spectacular score for Iñárritu's fantasia.Unlike any soundtrack you'll hear this year, Cosmo Sheldrake's score for Digger is a beautiful melange of various woodwinds, and actual bird calls, brass, and whalesong... synth and organic percussion. What he has created is a surreal symphony, a beautiful sonic landscape for a movie of catastrophic proportions.Given the ecological subject matter of the film, we are pressing this album on Eco Vinyl, and printing the album's sleeve and print parts using FSC certified paper stock. *Note, due to the nature of production on Eco Vinyl, each disc color may vary from the product mock up.
