+ Där Skogen Sjunger Under Evighetens Granar +

Swedish progressive metal pioneers Vildhjarta have built a career defined by mystique and groundbreaking artistry, consistently defying expectations. Formed in 2005 in Hudiksvall, the band has established an identity rooted in its darkly atmospheric and technically jarring sound. With its crushing, down-tuned riffs and complex polyrhythms, Vildhjarta sets itself apart with dense harmonic progressions, eerie soundscapes, and a unique blend of chaos and melody that has become synonymous with its name—and its enigmatic war cry, "Thall." Vildhjarta significantly impacted the metal world with their debut album, “Måsstaden”, released in 2011. This conceptual opus tells the story of an isolated, mythical town and showcases the band's innovative approach, solidifying their reputation as genre trailblazers. After releasing the “Thousands of Evils” EP in 2013, the band essentially stepped out of the spotlight, building anticipation among their devoted fanbase. In 2021, after nearly a decade of silence, Vildhjarta returned with “måsstaden under vatten”. This album continues the narrative established by “Måsstaden”, delivering 80 minutes of intricate, punishing, and deeply atmospheric music that reaffirms their status as musical innovators. Despite their elusive nature, Vildhjarta's impact on the metal scene is profound. Their music challenges conventions, weaving moments of unsettling beauty into aggressive sonic assaults. From their viral demo-era origins, Vildhjarta has cultivated a loyal following eager to explore each new chapter in their journey. As they prepare to unveil “+ där skogen sjunger under evighetens granar +”, Vildhjarta stands as a testament to innovation and artistic integrity. Their legacy is one of unyielding creativity. Thall.
