Daoism, Social Justice and Global Citizenship Education

Drawing on Daoist concepts from the Dao De Jing and the Zhuangzi, this book offers a philosophical account of Global Citizenship Education (GCE) that addresses pressing global issues such as poverty, racism, and peacebuilding. It advocates a noncoercive approach to critical pedagogy, illustrating how Daoism can enrich educational theory and practice.
