Originally released in 2016, UADA’s debut album Devoid of Light remains a remarkably focused debut—just five tracks, a little over thirty minutes—and yet a fully formed statement.Written within months of the band's formation and already performed live in early 2015, it captures UADA at a point where everything seemed to move fast and naturally fall into place.Emerging from Portland, Oregon, UADA drew from the spirit of the ’90s black metal wave, but approached it with a strong sense of melody and atmosphere.
