Japanese legends Boris are celebrating the 20 Year Anniversary of landmark albums Pink and dronevil -example- with special reissues out October 17 on Relapse.The album dronevil was created with the concept of playing two discs on separate players and speakers, allowing each listener to mix them in the air of the room at a balance that felt comfortable to them.Because it was a very conceptual work in which the musical experience would differ each time depending on factors such as volume balance, playback timing, and the distance from each sound, even at the time of its release there were many listeners who could not easily experience it.
