Family

Family is a deeply intimate album that explores the family as the first matrix of existence: this place of origin that builds us, marks us and accompanies us for a lifetime. Driven by Meryem Aboulouafa's vocal and emotional sensitivity, the project tells about transmission, invisible legacies, silent wounds and love learned, received and transmitted. Inspired by a personal transition—the transition from one family cell to another—the album weaves a narrative between roots and emancipation, attachment and freedom, memory and self-reinvention. Musically, Family mixes emotional pop, electronic elements and orchestral arrangements to create an atmosphere that is both intimate and cinematic. Heir to the sensitive universe developed since his self-titled debut album, the record unfolds an aesthetic at the crossroads of alternative pop, atmospheric neo-soul, and modern introspective song.
