Fischerspooner 231 Vinyl

Demon Records are delighted to partner with electronic music pioneers Fischerspooner on a reappraisal of their hugely influential and endlessly inventive catalogue. The first release to be announced is this tasty hot pink vinyl reissue of the album that started it all - 2000's peerless '#1'. THE definitive electroclash studio album from THE definitive electroclash band... can it really be 25 years since Fischerspooner spearheaded a synth revolution for a new generation? #1 includes one of the defining EDM dance anthems of all time in the shape of Emerge - which has 28M streams to date on Spotify alone - but there's so much more besides. Wire cover versions, ambient diversions, wit, wisdom, sensuality and the millennial zeitgeist running deep in every groove. Unavailable on vinyl since 2003, recent second-hand copies of the original LP release have changed hands for seriously high prices.
