<p>This volume is the result of extensive and in-depth research conducted by the Franco Albini Foundation on the vast docu­mentary collection in its archives, supplemented by external sources, with the aim of compiling a comprehensive catalogue dedicated to the work of Franco Albini (1905–1977) in the fields of design, interior architecture, and functional objects.</p><p>Edited by Giampiero Bosoni, this volume traces the entire career of the great Italian architect, from 1929 to 1977, capturing the complexity and richness of over three thousand projects.</p><p>The volume opens with a series of critical essays by leading scholars, followed by an extensive section of technical profiles orga­nised into thematic chapters. Each project is analysed and contextualised through texts and archival materials—photographs, drawings, and documents—that illustrate its development and significance.</p><p>The book is rounded out by a section dedicated to contemporary reissues, along with a biography and an annotated biblio­graphy.
