Gestalt integrative couple therapy

This book introduces a new clinical approach to couple therapy. Gestalt Integrative Couple Therapy. The modality is based on Dr Vibeke Visnes doctoral research into six therapists and twelve clinical case studies. <br><br>In her clinical and academic work, Visnes integrates phenomenology and Gestalt principles with contemporary psychological, philosophical and neuroscientific theories. Her emphasis is on holistic, relational processes and the therapeutic situation as a whole. The book synthesizes Visnes theoretical insights and clinical expertise and presents a comprehensive and evidence-based framework for couple therapy. It offers a significant contribution to the field and outlines a solid methodological structure that can be used to support practitioners as they navigate the complex and challenging waters of couple therapy. <br><br>The book comprises of three parts; Part I. The Relational Process Model, describing the therapeutic situation as a whole and an action-oriented approach to couple therapy. Part II. The Gestalt Integrative Model of Domains, which supports the therapists to find and frame interventions in the complexity of a couple therapy situation, and Part III.
