Gilbert O'Sullivan returns with 'On the Record', a new studio album from one of Britain's most enduring songwriters. Highlights include the soulful 'It's Me', with its unmistakable seventies feel and echoes of Steely Dan; the duet 'Is That You?' featuring Andrea Corr of The Corrs; and the wryly autobiographical 'Growing Old Disgracefully', where Gilbert quips that 'growing old disgracefully beats the hell out of staying well'.
