Glimpses of Creation & Other Poems

What if we could look through the eyes of the roaming albatross, and reveal the faith upholding its ceaseless ocean flight. Or comprehend the courage of a snowdrop to break through frozen earth, or the steadfast peace of the forest glade as it circles the seasons. This, and more, is found in Glimpses of Creation & Other Poems, where Bryan K Pratt draws on a lifetime of observation and experience to explore humanity and the natural world - God's creation - through poetry, illuminating the wisdom found in the smallest moments; and inspiring faith for the biggest questions. The poems span wartime childhood memories and family love to ageing, bereavement and healing. Alongside reflective and genuinely moving pieces are affectionate character studies and moments of humour. Bryan's poetry is both accessible and relatable, often gently and sometimes unapologetically leading the reader on a journey to a new perspective. Throughout the collection, familiar landscapes and everyday encounters become invitations to pause, look again and discover a different viewpoint. Illustrated with Bryan's own photographs, this is a heartfelt and varied anthology for readers seeking inspiration, comfort, amusement and a deeper appreciation of creation and of the Creator behind it.
