For Guru, Yann Gozlan entrusted the soundtrack to electronic music producer CHLOE. Pressed in limited edition vinyl, this score takes on its full scale and reveals a sound writing of great finesse. Initially minimal and controlled, music embraces the rigor and need for mastery of Matt Vasseur, the character played by Pierre Niney. Then, over the course of the story, the textures fragment, deform and gain intensity. Present almost continuously in the film, the music accompanies the mental drift, loneliness and psychological tension of the narrative.
