In the heavy metal scene, there are not only headbangers and pure consumers, but also collectors and explorers. This applies particularly to the eighties and the traditional underground of the nineties.This box contains four LPs re-released by Golden Core, which is exactly the target group that meets at festivals such as Keep It True or Headbangers Open Air. Every collector wants to have the original Sacrafice LP in their cupboard, but you have to dig deep into your pockets and be very lucky to fulfill this wish. The in-house production, which was released in small numbers in the mid-eighties, is one of the top rarities of German metal.Hammerschmitt is rather lucky, because the LP was once released by Rockport (Trance, Outside, Rodgau Monotones). Nevertheless, you still have to put a few bucks on the table if you want the original to be in good condition. The iconic cover and the competent heavy metal, partly speed metal, have made the album grow in popularity with fans over the years. Oblivion self-released the EP "Reflections" in the nineties. Two years ago, Golden Core provided the first vinyl edition of this forgotten gem from a time when traditional metal didn't have an easy time of it. The atmospheric cover alone was worth releasing an LP. The CD is still expensive if you want to buy an original used.This is not even possible with Squadron, because these are professional-sounding demo recordings that were never officially released. This compilation proves just how much some record companies were sitting on their ears back then. It easily outshines many a release from the established labels of the time. Squadron was the first band of drummer Klaus Sperling, who is known from Primal Fear, Sinner, Freedom Call or Nitrogods.
