Karen Carpenter Karen Carpenter Usa Vinyl

Rediscover Karen Carpenter with this special Japan-exclusive edition of her only solo album, recorded between 1979 and 1980 and originally released on CD in 1996 after years as a legendary unreleased work. Produced by Phil Ramone and showcasing a sound distinct from The Carpenters, the album highlights a different side of Karen and her extraordinary vocal talents. Released with the approval of Richard Carpenter, this edition marks the album's worldwide vinyl LP debut and features the latest 192kHz/24-bit master transferred from the original U.S. analog tapes. Pressed on 180g heavyweight black vinyl, the release features new artwork created from previously unpublished photographs discovered years later and includes liner notes by Toshikazu Kanazawa, lyrics, and Japanese translations of the lyrics.
