Kristoffer Grip Wildest Hope Vinyl

Kristoffer Grip returns to music and debut in 2026 with his first album as a solo artist, with a moody romantic streak rooted in southern gothic folklore and a rock n roll heartbeat. The album Wildest Hope mirrors the times we live in at the moment, dealing with life, love, fear, crisis and to find a hope in spite of it all, of the wildest kind.An integral voice from the sprawling European wave/ underground-scene of the 00s and 10s, the singer and visual artist Kristoffer Grip (born 1984, Stockholm) now lives and works in the woods of southern Sweden. Between 2005 – 2017 he was the lead singer and text writer of the electronic post punk – band Agent Side Grinder, also consisting of Peter Fristedt on tape loops, Johan Lange on synths and arrangements, Henrik Sunbring on synths and Drum Programming and Thobias Eidevald on bass (replacing Alexander Blomqvist/Stålhandske in 2011). Their music walked its own way from the start, blending influences in equal measures from synth, post punk and proto-punkers like Throbbing Gristle and Suicide, the later with whom they also shared stage. They were early on known for their raw and energetic live shows with Grip as an intense focal point, and the other bandmembers treating their 400kg of hardware with dedicated uncompromising groove. Their extensive touring across Europe included live gigs at the Great Escape Festival, Grauzone, Wave Gothic Treffen, Entremuralhas and Mera Luna. After five studio albums, Grips last participation being on Alkimia from 2015, he decided to quit the band to focus on other projects like his visual arts, where he works with painting and vitreous enamels exploring stories, symbols and mythology. In the beginning of 2025 he decided to collect the musical ideas from the last 10 years into an album. With the world in turmoil, musical expression felt necessary again.
