Lettres D'amour

Vocalist Linda Oláh and guitarist Giani Caserotto met in 2008, at the dawn of their musical journeys. Together they formed Lovers, a duo blending electroacoustic sound with jazz, classical, pop, and improvisation. Their debut album, Lettres d’amour, is the result of nine years of evolving collaboration (2016–2025) with sound engineers Linus Andersson (SE) and Baptiste Germser (FR), recorded between studios in Gothenburg and Paris. This long-form process allowed the music to mature organically—from free improvisations into structured compositions, carefully arranged and produced into ten distinctive tracks. Lettres d’amour is a tribute to love in all its complexity: intangible and eternal, tender and raw. Inspired by the tradition of troubadours and serenades, Lovers reframe that heritage using pedals, electronics, and voice, creating a sound that floats between the celestial and the grounded.Their songs embrace love’s many faces—grace and grit, dissonance and harmony. This duality is particularly vivid in the track “Beautiful Things,” where fractured harmonies give way to an arid electronic landscape, and a single monotone voice gradually blossoms into warm, layered harmonies. The song’s refrain, “Giving in, is the most beautiful thing,” encapsulates the album’s message of surrender and beauty in imperfection.The album closes with a simple phrase: “...I love you still, and I always will.” A pure moment of sentimentality, it offers a soft landing—or an invitation to begin again and revisit Lovers’ intricate sonic world.
