Muddy Waters Muddy Waters Sings Big Bill Chess Records Acoustic Sounds Series Vinyl

Muddy Waters Sings "Big Bill" is an inspired tribute to blues pioneer and mentor of Waters, Big Bill Broonzy. Recorded in 1959, just two years after “Big Bill” passed, with an exceptional band featuring Otis Spann, Willie “Big Eyes” Smith, and James Cotton, this record more than demonstrates Waters’ musical prowess. Following the success of The Best of Muddy Waters, this LP is entirely original, solidifying Waters’ claim to the sound of the Chicago electric blues. Standout tracks include "I Feel So Good" and "Tell Me Baby."Bring home the sound of America’s greatest blues label in high fidelity with the Chess Records Acoustic Sounds Series.
