PARKLIFE

If a picture paints a thousand words ... the images contained in PARKLIFE are enough to fill the British Library. Spanning 133 unforgettable years, PARKLIFE is a stunning coffee table book celebrating the history of Goodison Park in more than 200 powerful and rarely-seen pictures. The final chapter includes exclusive behind the scenes images of Goodison's emotional farewell match against Southampton in May 2025. But there is much much more. PARKLIFE contains images of the construction of the Bullens Road Stand 99 years ago, 1920s wing wizard Sammy Chedgzoy dancing down the Goodison Road touchline, Gwladys Street after the blitz of 1940 - and action shots from the night Inter Milan brought European Cup football to Merseyside for the first time. PARKLIFE will host pictures from almost every decade of Goodison's long history - right up to the present day with behind the scenes shots of Goodison's last dance against Southampton.
