Premier Voyage

This album contains measurements made during space exploration missions, translated into audible sound. Some are recordings of plasma waves and electromagnetic activity collected by space probes, which were then converted by scientists into the human hearing range, producing the eerie whistling, crackling, or howling sounds you can hear on every track. Others are recordings of radio frequencies emitted by planets or stars, which scientists have shifted into the audible range, much like tuning a radio.
