Quand La Ville Dort

When the city sleeps, it’s a cry from the heart for the queens, the sisters, and the muse. It’s a story of indelible loves and friendships to the core. When the city sleeps, it’s a snapshot of our lives, of our nights, our dreams and our nightmares. Those we follow after dawn and those we drown into the dark. When the city sleeps, it’s the beauty that stares into the eyes. It’s pride in the tears and the smiles. It’s the attitude, the recklessness and the drama. When the city sleeps, it’s your gaze on those who make a fortune of their freedom. It’s your intimacy with those who commit to their lives until death. When the city sleeps, it’s memory and hope. It’s without remorse, it’s all of us, it’s you. — Hugo Kreit, Paris, 2021
