Remember The Curfew

With the new mini-album Remember The Curfew, the German horror punk band DERRY makes its debut on FettFleck Records. After their demo single The Kids Of Derry, which was released in summer 2023 this marks the anxiously awaited next output by the newcomers. The first single His Voice will be released on March 22nd, 2024 and will provide a first impression of the debut work along with an impressive music video. His Voice, together with a newly recorded version of the first demo The Kids Of Derry and four other brand new songs, will be heard on the approximately 20-minute mini-album.A mixture of dark sounds, driving beats, a playful bassline and catchy, straightforward melodies, peppered with influences of American skate punk from the 90s, gives an idea of the soundtrack of their youth. Thematically, the band has turned to the works of Stephen King. Remember The Curfew deals with the Stephen King novella “IT” and the personalized horror of the clown Pennywise and its numerous facets, but also important themes such as first love, friendship and personal loss.
