Sad Girl Summer

On her album debut "Sad Girl Summer", Kayla Shyx retells highlights from her biography over the past four years in songs that focus on love, encounters and growing up.Her music is tender, soft and fragile, her words fill in the gaps and lie over billowing, sweetly captivating, sometimes morbid melodies. Dream pop, indie, Kayla Shyx: the musician scratches and scratches at layers, wants to understand, because everything gets mixed up in "Sad Girl Summer". A fantastically romantic world of sound that Kayla has developed over a year and a half.
