So The Wind Won’t Blow It All Away

The Sun was formed in the late 90s in Gothenburg, Sweden. In a musical vacuum, the band entered the city's vibrant musical scene and made things grow from a very different angle with their harmony singing and Eastern sounds in the same spirit as once Love, The Beach Boys, The Byrds and The Hollies. It was more folksy, less electric. More gardens and wine than rock'n'roll if you like. The energy was warm and flamboyant with loads of air and love - no other band sounded like them. The Sun burned out quickly and collapsed however, and the members continued towards other dreams with bands like Whyte Seeds and Pacific!.With the compilation "So the wind won't blow it all away" we release the magic of The Sun on LP for the first time.
