Soul & Science Remixes

This limited 7" pairs two standout remixes from Brooklyn DJ/Producer Nickodemus' 2023 album Soul & Science, bridging deep-rooted collaboration with modern dancefloor energy. On the A-side, Ben Gomori reimagines "Rumba Tobacco y Ron"-a trans-Caribbean production born between Puerto Rico and Cuba, featuring contributions from Tempo & The Candela All-Stars and Haydee Soul-into a chopped, electronic club cut that retains it's original horns, piano, and vocal spirit. On the B-side, Tigerbalm delivers a driving, four-on-the-floor remix of "Mama Tchipp (Follow Me)," flipping the Afro-disco anthem with steady basslines, punchy drums, and Pat Kalla's infectious vocals primed for peak-time play.
