Forged from the grime of the PNW’s rural landscape and the quiet fury of coastal solitude, Extortionist channels haunting harmonies in the likes of Alice in Chains while fully capturing the visceral aggression of Slipknot – creating a sound that is both familiar and fiercely their own. Known for their historic influence on metalcore and deathcore genres, the band has touredwith the likes of Lorna Shore, Attila, and Bodysnatcher -- but also, has supported artists in the nu-metal space such as KING810. While many artists attempt to replicate the iconic sound of the 90s grunge and 00s metal, very few raise the bar to where Extortionist’s album, Stare Into the Seething Wounds, will take you.
