<p>I buy with my heart…</p><p>The Stordalen Collection is a collection of contemporary, international art. It is unique in the sense that, unlike most private collections, it is constantly on public display. The collection is shown to the public in about 50 hotels around Scandinavia and Finland. Considering the attraction of today's hotels, and the fact that many have more day guests than night guests, attending the restaurants, conferences and other events, a large audience have access to the art works in this special collection.</p><p>The starting point and immediate ambition of Petter Stordalen was to ''re-define the meaning of Hotel Art''. Every single hotel in the world has art, and most often in level with the quality of the hotel. A good hotel has good art.</p><p>As the Stordalen collection has grown and the number of Strawberry hotels with a focus on important artistic statements has increased. With new challenges comes new opportunities.</p>
