After several successful album releases in a mainstream setting, Chief Xian aTunde Adjuah, known then as Christian Scott, chose to continue his path towards full control of his artistic identity. His 2015 release was titled Stretch Music, and it marked the creation of his own label of the same name. "Back 2 Back" - featuring Elena Pinderhughes, "Shared Stories of Rivals II" - featuring Logan Richardson and Weedie Braimah and "Take Off Your Cool" - featuring Robert Glasper.
