Sunderland: Images of England

<p><strong>Sunderland has changed more in the last decade than in the whole of the century before with barely a trace left of the great traditions of coalmining, shipbuilding and marine engineering for which the city was once famous.</strong></p><p>This book looks at the last hundred years of Sunderland through a sequence of old photographs selected from the archives of the <em>Sunderland Echo</em> by journalist Carol Roberton.
