Hailing from Sheffield, MAU MAUS were one of the pioneering hardcore punk bands of the early to mid 80s, releasing a string of classic singles and an album for Pax/Rebellion at the time - they returned reborn in 2021, with new singer Danny, and and with 10 songs recorded through lockdown which we released as "The Enemy Within" 12" - the fiirst official MAU MAUS new release in over 30 years!That release mixed 5 brand new songs with 5 re-recordings of classic 80s tracks, and it showed that the 21st century MAU MAUS had not lost any of their energy , bite and anger over the years and subsequently the release sold out within a couple of months and the band went on to show they were blistering live as well across numerous gigs and toursNow, finally we can announce the long awaited follow up to "The Enemy Within" and the bands full length album "THE BATTLE SCARS OF HUMAN DEBRIS" which features 13 slices of raging hardcore punk which feels as relevant for 2026 as it would have done in 1986!!The band have tours/gigs planned around the world to co-incide with this album and its great to put a new MAU MAUS album out to the world!
