The Bible Qumran and the Samaritans

?Die Reihe Studia Samaritana versammelt Bände aus dem gesamten Gebiet wissenschaftlicher Untersuchungen zu den Samaritanern, von den antiken Befunden bis hin zur Erforschung der gegenwärtigen samaritanischen Gemeinschaft und ihrer Traditionen. Besondere Schwerpunkte liegen in den Bereichen Geschichte, Kultur, Literatur, Religion und Ethnographie der Samaritaner. Die Reihe wird in Zusammenarbeit mit der Société d''Études Samaritaines herausgegeben und ist bibliographisch in die Reihe Studia Judaica integriert (jeweils separate Bandzählung in beiden Reihen). ?The series Studia Samaritana is a collection of volumes from the entire field of research on the Samaritans from antiquity to the present-day Samaritan community and its traditions. Special emphasis is placed on the history, culture, literature, religion and ethnography of the Samaritans. The series is published jointly with the Société d''Études Samaritaines and is bibliographically integrated into the series Studia Judaica (with separate numbering of the volumes in the two series). After World War II, Ernst Ludwig Ehrlich (19212007) published works in English and German by eminent Israeli scholars, in this way introducing them to a wider audience in Europe and North America. The series he founded for that purpose, Studia Judaica, continues to offer a platform for scholarly studies and editions that cover all eras in the history of the Jewish religion. Nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg hat Ernst Ludwig Ehrlich (19212007) herausragende israelische Gelehrte in englisch- und deutschsprachigen Veröffentlichungen in Europa und Nordamerika bekannt gemacht. Die zu diesem Zweck von ihm begründete Reihe Studia Judaica bietet heute ein Forum für wissenschaftliche Studien und Editionen aus allen Epochen der jüdischen Religionsgeschichte.
