The Fermionic Mind

This book presents a framework for an operating universe that can evolve biology, intelligence, and society without requiring extremely specific initial conditions. In this framework, consciousness emerges as a thermodynamically favored attractor. This account of ourselves as conscious beings is consistent with how the physical world is and it aligns with humanity's deep-seated, ancient intuition. While it is not guaranteed, this cosmic evolution toward consciousness is likely to occur wherever conditions permit, making it significantly more probable than random chance. However, Earth's history represents a specific and unique path.
