The Quarter After Changes Near Vinyl

Originally released in 2008, Changes Near is the stunning second album from California's The Quarter After, a band whose timeless blend of psychedelic folk, baroque pop and lush West Coast harmonies places them firmly within the lineage of the Los Angeles psychedelic tradition. Richly arranged and beautifully understated, the album unfolds through warm acoustic textures, intricate vocal harmonies and shimmering instrumentation, creating an intimate and cinematic listening experience.Despite widespread critical acclaim upon it's release, Changes Near remained available only on CD, becoming one of those quietly treasured records that deserved a wider audience. Nearly two decades later, it's beautifully crafted songwriting and immersive production sound more relevant than ever, appealing to fans of classic psychedelic folk as well as contemporary dreamlike indie music. For the first time ever on vinyl, Dust and Memory proudly presents Changes Near as a deluxe edition, pressed on limited edition colored vinyl and housed in a gatefoldsleeve with a printed inner sleeve, giving this overlooked modern classic the premium physical edition it has always deserved.
