The Sensational Alex Harvey Band Framed Vinyl

The album "Framed", released in 1972, introduced one of Britain’s most theatrical and uncompromising rock bands and established the fearless musical identity that would make The Sensational Alex Harvey Band one of the most distinctive bands of the decade.“Framed” draws with equal conviction from hard rock, blues, vaudeville, and music hall with equal conviction, shifting effortlessly between the boastful title track, the anthemic “Midnight Moses,” the expansive suite “Isobel Goudie,” and the rousing finale “St. Anthony.” Throughout, Alex Harvey’s impressive vocals are complemented by the extraordinary musicality of Zal Cleminson, Hugh McKenna, Chris Glen, and Ted McKenna, resulting in an album that is as imaginative as it is powerful.Produced by the band themselves at Morgan Studios, “Framed” remains a groundbreaking debut—bold, unpredictable, and unmistakably unique. This edition faithfully reproduces the album’s distinctive gatefold cover, complete with the original die-cut “frame,” which reveals the iconic image of Alex Harvey behind bars, thus preserving not only this classic debut but also one of the release’s most memorable visual details.
